Onosma cinerea

Description and General Information:

Onosma cinerea is often known in the trade as O. taurica.  Plants produce multiple, unbranched stems that reach 25-50 cm, topped by a raceme of nodding, tubular yellow flowers.The leaves are linear.  The entire plant is covered in stiff hairs making them quite bristly to the touch. This species is native to rocky or sandy, open areas of SE Europe though to the Caucasus.
