Sorry - Tour is full. The NARGS Tours and Adventures Committee has planned two tours to the Patagonia region of Argentina in 2023. The 12-day main tour will start in the Northern Lakes District of Patagonia (sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of South America), travel north by minibus through alpine and forest venues, and then to the steppe region of northern Patagonia. Immediately following the main tour, a 5-day extension to Southern Patagonia is planned. The timing of each tour was selected to coincide with expected bloom times. Each of these tours will be limited to 20 participants and will be led by well-known botanist and author Marcela Ferreyra. If there are more than 12 people in the group, Marcela will be assisted by a second guide. Requests to participate in only the Southern Patagonia tour will be considered if space is available.
The tour will be limited to 20 participants. You must be a NARGS member to register. The planned itinerary is discussed in the attached tour brochure.
