IE vs. FF

IE has fallen behind Firefox and Chrome in several ways..... I work on a Mac most of the time, but when I am working on a PC I'm afraid I never use IE any more because of its idiosyncrasies.

When I discovered the following, I just assumed it was another Drupal system stupidness that we had to just deal with.  But, maybe not.....

Look at the box just to the left of the Facebook icon.  Text shows correctly (kind of) on IE but not FF!

IE 10

FF 25

IE 10

FF 25

I see what you're showing here, in the FF screen captures, the text is bigger and spilling out its frame at the bottom. When I view the NARGS homepage, using FF 24, it looks fine, with normal text and no spill over.  I will update to FF 25 to see what changes.

Recently when I updated to Firefox 24, it broke a lot of things which are driving me crazy; when JPG files are sent to me, when I download them, it defaults to naming them "viewattachment" without a file extension and ignoring the given name, maddening. Viewing PDFs through the browser is completely broken, either doesn't work or takes a VERY LONG TIME, so now I must download them (here again, they download as "viewattachment: (what the heck?), I rename them, and can finally launch Acrobat Reader.

I find all the various browsers to have issues, not just IE.
