I'm very much hoping to get this lovely little plant established 'en masse' somewhere in the garden in the next few years. I'm sure they would do much better away from the confines of their pots!

The term "non-white snowdrops" is an actual term used by some Galanthophiles. Originally it may have been applied to snowdrops that have yellowish peduncles suspending the white flowers rather than green ones, and can include yellowish petal markings rather than green. Even though the flowers are still essentially white, those with these yellowish features are referred to as "yellow snowdrops". To the uninitiated or budding-galathophile, this term could be confusing, thus the explanation. Many of these are charming and would make worthwhile additions to the garden, if only they were...

This white flowered rain-lily came up unexpectedly as the only label near it was broken and carried the letters "Habrant...brachya..." but I don't think it's a Habranthus. ???
Is it a Cooperia? Zephyranthes drummondii? :-\
Anyone out there with an opinion?

I'm trying to propagate what is labeled as Allium farreri (cyathophorum), and was sold to me by PlantWorldSeeds. Attempt is being made in a bottom watered 50/50 coco peat/sand.

The packet stated that no stratification was necessary. Can this be true?

I've got some under cold treatment as well, but if it's unnecessary, that would be useful to know. I've read this is a 'common' garden plant from multiple sources, but I've never seen it that I can recall.

The first sunshine here for a couple of weeks has persuaded the first of many ( I hope! ;D ) flowers to open up on these tiny plants.
