Leucocoryne 'Andes'

More bulbs for experimentation: Leucocoryne 'Andes'. Should I plant these in baskets in order to pull them in the fall?

Thanks!

I've grown Leucocoryne from seed....can't recall the species but they did put on a good display in the greenhouse this past April.  They are certainly not hardy in my zone 5b.  I do keep mine in pots and repot each spring before I start watering them for the new season.

The 'Andes' sold here in Australia is pure Leucocoryne purpurea as far as we can tell, in case that helps with identifying it's needs?

The Leucocoryne I grew from seed is blooming now...as predicted.  It is L. ixioides.  About half are pure white while the others have a thin purple vein.
