Does that plant is salt resistant ? We have a similar one in Brittany (France). I was told once it was coming from South Africa and grows in the wall of harbors by the sea. I need to dig in my file as I cannot remember the name - sorry..
Thank you for your response. I am not sure if it is salt resistant. The stem is woody and I was impressed how the flowers tolerated early winter weather. It is about 14 inches tall.
Clearly a Brassicaceae. Looks like an Erysimum species, perhaps.
I think Lori S. might be on to something. It looks like Erysimum alpinum.
