Does anyone in Canada imported bulbs from Janis Ruksans rare bulbs, Latvia.
I got the permit to import bulbs from him but sending the money is tricky.
I emailed him but looks like he is busy.
If anyone has done this please help me.
My email address is [email protected]

I was trying to setup online money transfer with the help from bank. For some reason it was not working.
Maybe I have not entered the correct city name or something else.
In Canada bank wont allow us to write on the check "not exceeding $" .
The best option I was told by the bank is to send EURO in Draft.
But I haven not got any reply from the "rarebuls" for about two weeks.
Maybe they are busy.
I got the import permit just to get the bulbs from them.

Sorry for late response.

I have ordered bulbs each of the last 2 years from both J Ruksans in Latvia as well as Augis Bulbs in Lithuania.
In both instances I entered order on-line, then wired money thru my bank to their accounts abroad.
I have received my shipments without difficulty in both instances.
Their deadline for ordering is end of July, I think.
So if anyone wishes to place an order for this fall, now is the time.
Hope the information is helpful.
