Sharing Ranunculus andersonii photo

A friend and I had a great botanizing day yesterday and came across a Ranunculus andersonii in peak flower. This plant is probably shaded nearly 100% of the day since it grows on a slope with a overhanging conglomerate of clay and river cobble stone. Enjoy!

Super plant! And, I caught this photo on Facebook as well, plus the photo of the deep reddish-pink flowered form in sunshine. As buttercups go, this is certainly one of the most desirable species.
