what is this plant

Hi,

I bought this plant last year at a yard sale. No one knows what it is.

Evergreen, 2in tall, single stem, tri-leaf. No flowers as yet.

I have tried several times to attach a 12KB jpg of the plant to no avail. What is the secret to uploading a photo?

Thanks,
Sue Mandeville

Thank you!

Off to search it's culture and relatives. A heavenly afternoon.

Hi Sue!

Welcome to the forum, and glad you persisted in figuring out the uploading process.  Posting photos is well worth it, and I hope you will continue to participate.

I am glad Lori knew what that was... 'cause I didn't have a clue!  There are a good number of very knowledgeable forumists here, and I benefit from them a lot.  (Well actually, we all benefit from each other.) :D

Yes, welcome, Sue!  I didn't have time to linger here earlier, but glad you have joined us!
Cardamine trifolia is extremely hardy (it's even evergreen here) and undemanding (it tolerates our dry conditions well).

Cardamine trifolia is as Lori says, not a demanding plant.
Here is mine, picture taken in January:

Cardamine is a very interesting genus with many nice plants! Here are three, C enneaphylla, C heptaphylla and C waldsteinii.
The first one is very early and is almost done now, the two others flower in April.
