NARGS Forum - Things To Do

A checklist of items to get done on NARGS Forum specifically:

1. Bug - The rolling eyes emoticon does not display properly - I suspect we need to 'escape' a character or two. ::)

Temp Topic - view anomalies

Hugh, I started this "temporary" topic to highlight some viewing anomalies after you made the change for Moderators. After the info is conveyed to our group, or possibly gets addressed in some fashion, then the topic can be deleted.

First of all, GOOD IDEA to make such an area, yet another step in the growth and evolution of the fledgling NARGS Forum, thanks for taking the action.

Policies

We will add the NARGS Forum policies as the AdCom approves them.

Here are some suggestions of items we may want to bring to AdCom....

1. Suggest to the NARGS AdCom that we will not 'prune'/purge forum content; that our experience is that topics may intermittently spawn discussion and can be relevant even if not visited on a regular basis.

NARGS wiki image galleries

Hi everyone; the image galleries will now be listed alphabetically.  Each letter will have its own gallery and within that gallery, there may be a subcategory if there is a particularly large genus associated with that letter.  So as an example, if you want to enter a Dianthus, under gallery click D and then you will see a subcategory Dianthus; click that then go ahead and post the picture.  If on the other hand you wanted to enter a Doronicum, then again click gallery D but this time you don't see a subcategory for Doronicum so simply enter the image under D.  I think y
