Membership Information
The Chapter meets on the third Friday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Pierce County Administrative Center, 3005 112th Street East, Tacoma WA except for the months of July, August, and December. For more information, contact Bob Fincham (bobfincham@mashell.com).
The aims/purposes of this society are to foster and to stimulate interest in the growing, propagation, and study of rock garden, alpine, and native plants. The society also promotes the use of slower growing plants which are appropriate for smaller spaces and drier conditions.
Membership benefits:-
1. Receive a monthly newsletter containing program information, upcoming plant sales and events, and short plant articles.
2. Learn from guest speakers whose topics range from alpine plants to plant pests and everything in between.
3. Exchange plant information with other plant enthusiasts.
4. Participate in bus trips to various gardens and nurseries.
5. Exchange and purchase unique plants.
