| Ed & Kathy Glover | An eclectic mix of gardens on a good-sized village lot. They include a dwarf conifer bed along the entrance drive, a rose garden, herb garden and a standard perennial bed. There is also a large vegetable garden including strawberries, raspberries, grapes, etc. The focus of the back yard is a rock garden built from native weathered limestone and a sand bed for dry-land plants and hardy cacti. On the east side is a small wildflower garden and an ever-expanding primula bed. Clematis are of great interest here and many species and small-flowered hybrids can be found in the gardens. |

| Jack and Judy Ferreri | This is an enthusiast’s large rock garden started about seventeen years ago on a two-acre hillside site with natural limestone and sandstone outcroppings. A terraced slope provides a range of microclimates. Various unusual rock garden plants grown from seed. Other features include a large sand bed for growing xeric plants, a peat bed for acid lovers, and a newly-expanded woodland garden with many primroses, standard woodlanders, young rhododendrons, and other Ericaceae. Five large cold frames supply the young plants for the garden. I've gradually been adding more and more deciduous trees and shrubs around the garden. On the other side of the driveway is Judy's English cottage garden, with many large classic perennials, lots of daylilies, big swaths of color, and not a label in sight. |
