| Phyllis Gustafson | A collector's garden with many alpines and rock garden plants in crevice type gardens. Other rock gardens include troughs, a small water feature with bog garden and peat areas. The woodland has a collection of spring flowers. The mixed border includes shrubs and larger perennial plants. Saxifraga, Daphne, Cyclamen and Turkish plants are some favorites. Open to members of NARGS and others interested in joining the Society. Please write as far ahead as possible. |

| Loren Russell | Sloping 0.4 acre suburban lot with several rock gardens, including 60-foot dry wall, a new sand garden with many dryland plants, and pool/bog with shaded rock garden. Many troughs and containers. Western American and Mediterranean plants well-represented, many from seed. |

| Jane McGary | The garden consists of about two acres under cultivation, including a large rock garden and collection of about 600 bulbous species, mostly in frames. Plants of interest may be seen from about February through October, and bulbs and container plants are for sale in September and October only.
Visitors should contact me at least 2 days ahead of time for appointment and directions. The garden is about 45 minutes east of Portland. |

| Ernie and Marietta O'Byrne | This is a collector’s garden of about 1 acre plus in the countryside. It features extensive perennial borders in both sun and semishade, woodland gardens underplanted with a tapestry of groundcovers and hellebores, many ferns, primulas, meconopsis, etc.; a rock garden with a collection of rare alpines, some in the many troughs; a conifer and grass garden mixed with heathers, kniphofias and ‘hot’ colored flowers, and more. A little pond with benches supplies rest and frogs.
The Nursery features unusual perennials, woodland plants, some alpines. Open on Thursday through Saturday 10 to 6, from March 1 to October 1 or by arrangement with the owners. |

| Tanya Harvey | A 1/3-acre collector's garden in the country. Mostly woodland plantings under a high canopy of Douglas-firs. Four rock garden beds take advantage of the limited sun. Large collections of ferns and hostas including many dwarfs. Many Northwestern natives. Also many nice native wildflowers on the rest of large property. Half hour east of Eugene on the way out to great wildflower hikes in the Western Cascades. |

| Kelly O'Neill | Don't expect much formal design or behavior. Do expect an amazing array of plants and garden creations. Things are always changing. Try to visit at more than one time of year. Bring friends and a picnic meal and/or plan to fire up our BYO BBQ if you wish.
We are 8 minutes from I-5 next to Eugene. Kelly's home gardens can be visited by appointment most any time. Kelly is rarely available as tour guide until after 2pm. |
