Anemone
nemorosa European Wood Anemone. A few inches high. Many colored formswhite, red, lavender, and blue. Deeply cut leaves. A fine spring ephemeral for the woodland. Place in an undisturbed location as it goes dormant at the end of June. It may take two or three years to establish, but will spread rapidly if well-sited. Zones 3-8. |
